アイヴォ・ダールダー

オランダ・ハーグ生まれ。オックスフォード大学やジョージタウン大学で学んだ後、マサチューセッツ工科大学で博士号（政治学）を取得した。ハーバード大学フェロー、国際戦略研究所研究員、外交問題評議会研究員、メリーランド大学准教授を経て、1998年からブルッキングス研究所上級研究員。この間、1995年から2001年までクリントン政権下の国家安全保障会議スタッフ（ヨーロッパ問題担当）も務めたほか、民主党の外交政策顧問として2004年の大統領選および2008年の大統領選に関わった。
