アミタイ・エツィオーニ

アミタイ・エツィオーニ（Amitai Etzioni、1929年1月4日 - 2023年5月31日[1]）は、アメリカ合衆国の社会学者。共同体主義の代表的論者。

経歴

ドイツ・ケルン生まれ。ナチスの迫害を逃れ、パレスチナ（現在のイスラエル）に逃れる。ヘブライ大学で修士号を取得後、アメリカに移住し、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校で博士号取得。ハーヴァード大学教授、コロンビア大学教授を経て、ジョージ・ワシントン大学教授。1994-1995年にアメリカ社会学会会長を務めた。

本来、組織論の研究から出発したが、1990年代に入り、共同体主義に傾斜し、Responsive Communitarian Movements を創始した。
