アレックス・コックス
アレックス・コックス（Alex Cox、1954年12月15日 - ）は、イギリスの映画監督、脚本家である。『レポマン』や『シド・アンド・ナンシー』を手がけたことで知られている[1]。

経歴
1954年12月15日[2]、マージーサイドのベビントンに生まれる[3]。オックスフォード大学にて法律を学んだ[4]。1977年にブリストル大学を卒業したのち、カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校にて映画を学んだ[5]。
1984年、『レポマン』で長編映画監督デビューを果たす[6]。1986年、『シド・アンド・ナンシー』を監督する[7]。その後、『ストレート・トゥ・ヘル』や『ウォーカー』を監督した[8]。
