アンガス・マディソン

アンガス・マディソン（Angus Maddison、1926年12月6日 - 2010年4月24日）は、イギリスの経済学者。フローニンゲン大学名誉教授。経済史、経済発展論専攻。

西暦紀元後の世界各国の経済規模の比較で他に類例のない研究成果を残している。

ニューカッスル・アポン・タイン生まれ。ケンブリッジ大学卒業。マギル大学およびジョンズ・ホプキンス大学大学院で学ぶ。セント・アンドルーズ大学で1年間教鞭をとった後、1953年から1978年まで欧州経済協力機構（OEEC）および経済協力開発機構（OECD）のエコノミストとなる。その間、ハーバード大学客員研究員や、ガーナおよびパキスタン政府の政策アドバイザーを務めた。1978年にオランダのフローニンゲン大学教授に就任。2007年に一橋大学の名誉博士号を授与される。
