  2. Le breton a été parlé dans la commune jusqu'au XIIe siècle. Il y a 26,80 % de toponymes bretons dans la commune (Le Moing). Le gallo aurait ainsi succédé au breton dans la commune aux alentours du XIIe-XIVe siècle, la population y était probablement en partie bilingue.
