概要
過去に同じ名称の航空会社がインドに存在したが、2008年以降キングフィッシャー航空と合併しエア・デカンの名称は存在しなくなっていた。[1]
実業家であるG. R. Gopinathがエア・デカンブランドを復活させ、2017年12月23日に運行を開始した。[2][3]運行に際しては、既存のチャーター航空会社であるDeccan Chartersを通して、UDAN制度を利用した。[4]
