グリーゼ832b

グリーゼ832b (Gliese 832 b) とは、地球から見てつる座の方向に約16.1光年離れた位置にある赤色矮星グリーゼ832を公転する太陽系外惑星である。グリーゼ832星系の中で、恒星から2番目に近いところを公転している。

発見

オーストラリアのアングロ・オーストラリアン天文台の研究チームにより発見された[1]。

物理的性質

グリーゼ832bはガス惑星で、公転周期は3416日、木星質量の7割弱の質量を持つとされる。2014年にはより内側にグリーゼ832cが発見された[2]。
