サイチョウ亜目
サイチョウ亜目（さいちょうあもく、学名 Bucerotiformes）は、鳥類サイチョウ目の亜目である。

現生2科61種[1]。
系統と分類
ヤツガシラ亜目 Upupes, Upupae と姉妹群で[2]、共にサイチョウ目を構成する。
伝統的にはブッポウソウ目サイチョウ亜目とされてきたが[3]、キツツキ目の外側に位置したため、姉妹群のヤツガシラ亜目と共にサイチョウ目として分離された。
Sibley分類では、サイチョウ亜目・ヤツガシラ亜目をそれぞれサイチョウ目・ヤツガシラ目 Upupiformesとしていた。
絶滅科としてMesselirrisoridaeが属す[4]。
