シパン

シパン（Sipán）は、ペルー北部ランバイエケ県のチクラーヨ近郊のランバイエケの谷にあるモチェ王国の考古学遺跡。1987年から、ウォルター・アルバ (Walter Alva、1951年生まれ、ペルーの考古学者)(英語版) により発掘されたシパン王墓 (Lord of Sipán)(英語版) で有名である。シパンの町の歴史は、モチェ時代の西暦50～700年頃までに遡る[1]。
