ジャスティン・ホランダー

ジャスティン・ホランダー（Justin B. Hollander）は、都市計画・都市デザインの学者で、アメリカ合衆国タフツ大学の Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning の教授である[1]。

1996年にタフツ大学で学士号（Bachelor of Arts）を取得[1]。2000年にマサチューセッツ大学アマースト校の Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning で地域計画の修士号を取得[1]。2007年にラトガーズ大学の Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy で博士号を取得した[1]。

経歴

都市や地域の拡大や縮小といった変化の管理や、認知・健康・地域活性化の社会側面などを研究対象とする[2]。 Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning （アメリカ合衆国の都市計画学の国立機関）の理事[3]、学術雑誌 Planning Practice & Research と Journal of Planning Education and Research の編集委員会の委員を務めている[4][5]。著書 Cognitive Architecture は2017年に the Environmental Design Research Association の Place Research Award を受賞した[6]。

  • Principles of brownfields regeneration: Clean-up, design, and re-use of derelict land (2010) (coauthors: Niall Kirkwood and Julia Gold) (translated into Chinese by the Chinese Architectural and Building Press [2014] and Korean by Daega [2013]).[12]
  • Polluted, and dangerous: America’s worst abandoned properties and what can be done about them (2009)[13]
