ジャドクタテリウム科

ジャドクタテリウム科(ジャドクタテリウムか、Djadochtatheriidae)はモンゴルジャドフタ層から産出したジャドクタテリウムを中心とする絶滅した哺乳類多丘歯目の1である。中生代後期白亜紀中央アジアに確認される。

多丘歯類は運動と食性においてかなり多様性に富んだ群であり、本科に属するクリプトバータルカトプスバータルトビネズミのような跳ねて移動する (saltatorial)雑食性であり、ジャドクタテリウム科のステムグループであるネメグトバータル(ネメグトバアタルNemegtbaatar も同じような生活をしていたと考えられる[1]。それに対し Mangasbaatar は穴を掘る植食性であった[2]
