チビヤモリ科
チビヤモリ科 Sphaerodactylidae は有鱗目の科の一つ。かつてはヤモリ科に含められていた。

分類
12属に約210種が属する[2]。この科の設立は1954年で、当初は南米産の属のみが含められていたが[1]、その後欧州・アフリカ産種も含むように拡張された。この科は北アフリカを起源とし、ゴンドワナ大陸の分裂に伴って大西洋の両側に分布するようになったと考えられている[3]。
