ドモニ
ドモニ（フランス語/コモロ語: Domoni、コモロ語アラビア文字表記: دُمُنِ、アラビア語: دوموني Dūmūnī[3]）は、コモロ・アンジュアン島ドモニ県のコミューン。主都ムツァムドゥに次ぐ同島第2の都市。島東部に位置している。

歴史
1930年のドモニ
かつて同島を支配していたンズワニ・スルターン国の首都であった[4]。15世紀ごろ、ドモニはアフリカ、ペルシャ、アラブ、インドとの貿易の中心地として栄えた。考古学的資料によれば遠く離れた日本とも貿易を行っていたという[5][6]。18世紀末のスルターンアブドゥッラー1世は首都をムツァムドゥへ遷都した[7]。
