ハイタカ亜科

ハイタカ亜科（Accipitrinae）は、タカ科の1亜科である。本亜科は51種から構成されるハイタカ属（Accipiter）など5属から成り、ほとんどの種はハイタカ属に属する。

ハイタカ属

ハイタカ属は一般的に烏口骨の孔こうが存在していないが、2種のみ大きな烏口骨の孔こうが存在し、この2種はDNAの塩基配列によっても明確に区分することが可能であるため、今後この２種をHieraspiza属として区別する可能性がある[1]。 ハイタカ属はフランスの動物学者であるマチュラン・ジャック・ブリソンによって1760年に提唱され、タイプ種はハイタカとされた[2][3]。ハイタカ属の学名はラテン語で「掴むこと」を意味するaccipereに由来する[4]。 ハイタカ属には以下の51種が属する[5]
