パパイア科
パパイア科（パパイアか、Caricaceae、パパイヤ科）は被子植物の科のひとつで、果樹のパパイアなど4-6属30種あまりが含まれる。日本には自生種は知られていない。

- Carica - パパイア1種 中米
- Horovitzia - 1種 中米
- Jarilla - 3種 中米
- Jacaratia - 8種 中南米
- Vasconcellea - カリカ、ババコなど20種 中南米
APG植物分類体系ではパパイア科はアブラナ目に属する。クロンキスト体系では側膜胎座に多数の種子がつくのが共通であるとしてスミレ目に入れる。新エングラー体系でもスミレ目とされる。
