フィレンツェのギルド

フィレンツェのアルティ(イタリア語:Arti di Firenze)は、12世紀から16世紀にかけてフィレンツェの商業と品質管理のために結成された同業者組合(ギルド)であり、後に中世ヨーロッパの歴史で最も裕福な都市であったフィレンツェにおいて重要な政治的役割を持つようになる組織集団のことである。

アルティの形成

フィレンツェの最初のギルドは、約1150年の書物には布商人の組合であるArte di Calimalaであると記載されている。1193年になると7つのギルドが形成され、それぞれのギルドからギルドのすべての仕事を管理するメンバーが選出され、それらのメンバーによる協議会(consoli)が発足した。

政治的役割

フィレンツェの政治を行う議会シニョリーアは、大組合(arti maggiori)から6名が、小組合(arti minori)から2名が選出され、それに行政長官である正義の旗手が加わり9人の「Priori」と呼ばれるメンバーによって行われた[1]。 「七大ギルド」について明確に記述されたのは、1197年である[2]。

提供販売屋は、1282年と1295年のリストでは「塩屋」(Arti dei Venditori del Sale)と記載されていた[22][23]その後再度Olianodoliに改名。1328年には、biadaiuoli(ろうそく屋)、casciaiuoli(製靴屋)、biccheierai(製ガラス)、funai(ひも製造)とsaponai(石鹸製造)に関連していると指摘されている。[24]

1282年には、Arte de' Sanollacciai e Coreggiai e Scudai (ハーネス製造業、鞍と盾製造)と記載されている[26]。1285年のリストには頭絡の製造業が、 1309–16年にはronzoni (馬のディーラー)、 1321年にはvaginari (鞘製造)が加わった。

1282年にはArti dei Chiavaiuoli e Ferraiuili - Vecchi e Nuovi(錠前屋と鉄細工職人(もしくは刃物工具)の組合-昔と今)に名称が拡張された。 1301-09年には、「Chiavaiuoli, Ferraiuilli and Calderai」と呼ばれたが、1415年には 「Chiavaiuolli」と短縮された[27] 。
