系統と分類
古くはレンジャク科 Bombycillidae に含められていたが、レンジャクモドキ科とミミグロレンジャクモドキ科 Hypocoliidae が分離された。それらはレンジャク科に近縁な数科からなるレンジャク上科 Bombycilloidea に含まれるが、互いの系統関係は不確実である[1][2]。
