中国艦隊 (イギリス)
イギリス中国艦隊（The China Station）は、1865年から1941年まで存在した、イギリス海軍の艦隊である。

概要
イギリスの権益が中国に拡大されたことに伴い、1831年にそれまでの東インド艦隊を東インド・中国艦隊とした[1]。1865年、東インド艦隊と中国艦隊は再び分離され、中国艦隊は中国内の航行可能な河川、西太平洋、オランダ領東インドを担当した[2]。
中国艦隊は、植民地のシンガポール、香港（HMS Tamar、1865年–1941年）、威海衛（1898年-1930年）を基地とした。通常は数隻の旧式軽巡洋艦と駆逐艦で編成され、チャイナ・ガンボートと呼ばれる河川用の砲艦も配属された[3]。所属艦艇は、通常船体と上部構造物を白、煙突を暗色で塗装されていた。
第二次世界大戦の勃発、並びに敵国のドイツの同盟国の大日本帝国の脅威が高まったために、1941年に東インド艦隊と再び統合され東洋艦隊となった[4]。
