発射・投入・放送などが一回毎や一回単位であること
- 一発毎にしか発射できない形式のこと。単発 (銃)など。
- テレビ番組 - 「単発番組」の略。単発特別番組枠、特別番組など。
- 雇用形態 - ワンコールワーカーなど。
発動機（エンジン等）を一基だけ搭載する形式のこと。単発旅客機など。
