2018年のRS:X 2018 World Cup Series - Round 3, Hyères Hyères, FRAの大会で5位を獲得[1]。

来歴

父親は、元国体選手富澤仁。セーリングが趣味だった父親に連れられて、小学2年生ごろから競技をはじめた。

高校2年生の時に出場した大会（新潟県柏崎市にて開催されたユニバーシアード［学生のオリンピックとも呼ばれる大会］）で同級生に抜かされそうになり、それをきっかけに所属していた水泳部を辞め、セーリング競技に専念することを決意[2]。 2003年インカレの大会（個人戦）にて優勝[3]

2018年、セーリング男子RS：X級日本代表として、2008年の北京オリンピックから3大会連続で出場2020年東京オリンピックに向けての強化選手に選ばれる[4]。
