検針

検針（けんしん）

電力・ガス・上下水道などの料金請求額を算出するため、電力量計・ガスメーター・水道メーターで消費量を調査すること。
衣料品などの流通過程において、最終商品に縫い針や待ち針が残っていないか検査すること。→検品
折れ針や残針を検出する機械を検針機という。
