鈴木敏

鈴木敏は、1930年（昭和5年）6月24日、名古屋に生まれた。1949年に京都大学に入学し、数学を専攻した。1953年に大学院に入学し、秋月康夫の下で研究を開始した。

• 1958年から翌年にかけて京都女子大学で教鞭をとり、
• 1969年にフロリダ州立大学に滞在した。1961年まで桃山学院大学で教えた。
• 1964年に京都大学おいて理学博士の学位を取得した[4]。
• 1965年から1967年にかけてパデュー大学の数学過程で教えた。
• 1967年から翌年にかけてクイーンズ大学 (カナダ)で教えた。
• 1970年に京都大学教授となった。
• 1971年と1988年にそれぞれ半年づつ、ラトガース大学に滞在した。
• 1985年の夏には、大連外国語大学にも滞在した。
• 1991年8月11日、在職のまま、膵臓癌で亡くなった。
