1619プロジェクト: The 1619 Project)はジェイムズタウンに初めて奴隷が連れてこられた1619年を真のアメリカ合衆国の建国とみなすことでアメリカの歴史の再構築を目指す批判的人種理論による取り組み。また、1619プロジェクトは、アメリカ独立革命パトリオットアメリカ合衆国建国の父エイブラハム・リンカーン南北戦争時のアメリカ合衆国といったアメリカ史において古くから尊重されてきた人物や出来事に対して批評的な見方をとっている。[1][2][3][4]
