FUN.（ファン.）は、アメリカ合衆国のポップ・ロック・バンドである[3][4]。2008年に元ザ・フォーマットのネイト・ルイスを中心に結成された。2015年、活動休止を発表。

略歴

2008年結成。

2009年8月25日、デビューアルバム『エイム・アンド・イグナイト』をリリース。全米アルバムチャートにて、初登場71位を記録。

2012年2月21日、2ndアルバム『サム・ナイツ〜蒼い夜〜』をリリース。全米アルバムチャートにて初登場3位を記録した他、オーストラリアとカナダのオフィシャルチャートでもランクインを果たす。

2012年3月7日、ジャネール・モネイとのコラボ曲「ウィー・アー・ヤング」がビルボード・シングルチャートで1位を獲得。ロックバンドとしては、コールドプレイ以来およそ3年半ぶりに1位まで上り詰める快挙を成し遂げた[5]。また、複数の人数を擁するロックバンドとしてHot 100初エントリー曲がそのまま1位になったのは、2001年に1位を獲得したニッケルバックの「How You Remind Me」以来およそ10年ぶり。ロックバンド以外では、アウル・シティー以来およそ2年ぶりとなった。その後、5週連続30万ダウンロード以上を記録し2010年に大ヒットした、エミネム feat. リアーナの「ラヴ・ザ・ウェイ・ユー・ライ」を抜いて、7週連続30万ダウンロードの新記録を樹立。結果、シングルチャートで6週連続1位をキープした。

2015年、メンバー各自の活動に専念するため、バンド活動休止を発表[6]。
