『Hush little baby』（ハッシュ･リトル･ベイビー）は、元はアメリカ合衆国の南部州に古くから伝わる子守歌であり、そこから英語圏に広まっていった子守歌である。日本語名は「ぼうやはねんね｣または｢おやすみ赤ちゃん」。

概要

曲中ではママと赤ちゃんが出てきて、「坊や、静かにして、ママが〇〇を買ってあげるね」と語る内容である。歌詞では、ママがいろいろ買いすぎてしまう場面もある。

海外の曲では珍しく七五調である。
