イングリッシュ・セツルメント

『イングリッシュ・セツルメント』 (原題: English Settlement)は、1982年にヴァージン・レーベルとゲフィン・レーベルからリリースされたXTCの5枚目のスタジオ・アルバム。レコーディングは1981年10月から11月にかけて、オックスフォードにあるマナー・スタジオ (The Manor Studio)で行われた。カバーにはアフィントンの白馬が描かれている。 発売当初は、イギリス盤は２枚組LP盤で15曲、アメリカと日本は、1枚のLP盤で10曲というパッケージで販売された。 このアルバム迄、ライブ活動を行い全ての曲にテリー・ チェンバーズが参加している。
