アルゼンチン競馬史上初の四冠馬であり、種牡馬としてもアルゼンチン血統に多大な功績を残した。生涯成績19戦18勝2着1回。種牡馬としても3回（1912、1917、1918年）首位種牡馬に、ブルードメアサイアーにも8年連続を含む9回輝いている（1920、1922 - 1929年）。現在でもアルゼンチン血統に深く関わっている。
