概要
前作「僕たちの行方」から7ヶ月ぶりのリリースとなる2008年2作目のシングル。「クロス*ハート」以来3作ぶりにMellow Headレーベルでの発売となる。
自身のシングル曲としては初のノンタイアップ作品であり、「自身初のオリジナルシングル」とCDの帯に記載されていた。また、本作から音楽プロデューサーに大久保薫を迎え入れた。
