リチャード・フライシャー（Richard Fleischer、1916年12月8日 - 2006年3月25日）は、アメリカ合衆国の映画監督である[3]。

経歴
1916年12月8日、ニューヨーク州ブルックリン区に生まれる[4]。ショー・ビジネスの家庭に育ったが、精神科医になることを志していた[1]。ブラウン大学とイェール大学演劇大学院で学んだ[5]。
1946年、『Child of Divorce』で長編映画監督デビューを果たす[5]。1947年の『Design for Death』ではアカデミー長編ドキュメンタリー映画賞を受賞。1954年の『海底二万哩』で監督を務めた後、『ミクロの決死圏』や『絞殺魔』、『トラ・トラ・トラ!』、『ソイレント・グリーン』などを監督した[4]。
2006年3月25日、カリフォルニア州ウッドランド・ヒルズの病院で死去[6]。89歳没[6]。生涯に手がけた作品は約60本に及んだ[7]。
