カリフォルニア州サンフランシスコで生まれ育った。中国系とモンゴル系の子孫である[4]。一人っ子である[5]。ポルノで働く前にはコールガール、ストリッパー、バーテンダーとして働いていた[6][7]。

経歴

Kink.comのタレントスカウトから電子メールを受け取った後の2012年に成人向け映画業界に入った[6][7]。最初の出演はKaylee Hiltonとともにtspussyhunter.comに出たものであった[5]。初め芸名を選んだとき、ヴィーナスはてんびん座の守護星、ラックスはluxuryの略であるとしていた[5]。後に自分の芸名のもともとの意味を「やや悪趣味である」と考え始めそれを変更することにした[5]。現在はその芸名はラテン語/ギリシア語で愛(Venus)と照明(Lux)であると述べている[5]。

他の事業

Venus Lux Entertainmentというスタジオを所有している[8]。2014年12月、Pulse Distributionと3年間の独占販売契約を結んだ[8]。2012年、"Venus Rising"というタイトルのコラムを書き始めた[9]。それらのコラムのいくつかをVenus Lux Diariesという本にまとめ2015年3月に発売した[9]。2015年10月、TransGlobal Magazineを立ち上げた[10]。2016年、Syren NetworkとウェブサイトTS Fetishesを設立し、ともに春に開始した。ドキュメンタリーAfter Porn Ends titled After Porn Ends 2の続編に登場している[11]。

個人生活

2009年3月、男性から女性への転換を決意した[6]。ホルモン補充療法と豊胸手術を受ける前に数週間異性装をすることで始めた[6]。右耳が不自由である[5]。
