この恒星は燃料の水素がほぼ尽きかけており、最終的には赤色巨星を経て、白色矮星となって死を迎える。絶対等級は4.15と太陽の4.83等級よりも明るく、表面温度もやや高い。
惑星系
この恒星は2つの惑星を持っており、惑星bは2005年[5]、惑星cは2008年に発見された[6]。惑星bは、ハビタブルゾーンにあると推定される[7]。
