メリングチェイス

メリングチェイス（Melling Chase）は、毎年4月にイギリスのエイントリー競馬場で3日間にわたって行われるグランドナショナルミーティングの2日目に行われる競走である。グランドナショナルと同じ開催で施行されるが、グランドナショナルとは異なりマイルドメイコースと呼ばれる英愛で一般的な障害を設置したコースで行われる。距離は2マイル4ハロン（約4023メートル）、障害数は16、格付けはG1（グレード1）、賞金総額は20万ポンドである。

創設は1991年。平坦なコースでスピードを問われるためクイーンマザーチャンピオンチェイスの出走馬の次走として選択されることが多く、2007年までの17回の間に5頭がクイーンマザーチャンピオンチェイスからの連勝を達成している。
