アネム語
アネム語（アネムご、Anêm、Anem）とは、ニューブリテン島西部で話されている言語である。隣接するルシ語をはじめ周辺部で話されている言語はいずれもオーストロネシア語系であるが、アネム語は非オーストロネシア語である。ルシ語との比較研究がなされている[2]。

分類
アネム語には同じニューブリテン島のワシ語（アタ語）や遠く離れたロッセル島の言語であるイェレ語の代名詞と類似するものがいくつか見られるため、これら三言語をYele-West New Britain語族と括る向きもあるが、Hammarström et al. (2016) では結論を出すには根拠が不十分であるとされている。

- 軟口蓋ふるえ音は調音不可能な音であり、IPAに対応する表記は存在しない。Cowan & Rakušan (1998:xii)では軟口蓋ふるえ音にʀという記号が割り当てられているが、これは現在のIPAでは口蓋垂ふるえ音を表す。
