デビュー40周年の一環として発売、元々はEPとして企画されていた[1]。
イギリスのアルバムチャートではオリジナル・アルバムとしては『WOW!』以来の高順位でチャートインした[2]。
「フェイバリット」はサラの娘、アリス・Dの曲のカバー。
